The vision and passion behind iHealthy, was years of Study in the field of Medicine and the practical experience of working with patients and their ailments due to aging, work stress and sport activities.

Dr Riaan Barnard received his Medical degree M.B.Ch.B (Pret) at the University of Pretoria in 1994. For the female patients in his practice, he decided to enrich his knowledge with an Honours degree in Reproductive Biology B.Sc.Hons (Stell) in the beautiful Stellenbosch in 2004. He received his Masters Degree( with Distinction) in Sports Medicine in 2012 at the University of Bloemfontein.

His wife, Antoinette Barnard (BA Pol Science 1992) joined him in this journey with love and administrative support. She also started a company manufacturing pharmaceutically innovated health products with the support of a Biochemist in 2006  – The Nutrition Lab CC.  

With the combined knowledge and experience in health and nutrition, it is the goal and objective of iHealth to strives and empower people to live a healthier life with better mobility. Restoring and maintaining the human body.
